Origin Information:

Peru is known for its production of certified coffees, including organic, and has seen remarkable growth — from being the 20th largest coffee producer in 2014 to 8th in 2023. Jose Rivera and his wife Maria Gracia run Origin Coffee Lab (OCL), a well-regarded exporter of high-quality Peruvian specialty coffee. As part of a project to deepen their understanding of sustainable coffee production, they joined a small producer group called “La Palestina,” working closely with 18 local farmers on cultivation and processing. At their El Rejo farm, they focus on Bourbon, while also experimenting with varieties like Marshell, K9, and Ethiopian lines. This lot, produced with a commitment to sustainability, offers vibrant fruit flavors and high quality—we’re excited to share it with you.
