In 2012, "FUGLEN TOKYO" was born as our first overseas branch, introducing Norwegian coffee culture and, at the same time, gaining a lot from the ever-changing Tokyo coffee scene.

Two years later, in 2014, FUGLEN COFFEE ROASTERS started roasting in Shibuya, Tokyo, as a micro-roaster roasting top-quality coffee.

Through transparent channels, we buy the freshest, best-tasting coffee of the season from farms worldwide.

We also visit the growers every year to check the environment in which the coffee is grown and the production process to offer a coffee that makes both growers and us happy.

STORY

FUGLEN means bird in Norwegian.
The bird in our logo is the tern, a migratory bird found in Oslo harbor that flies the longest distance in the world.
We want to live like a migratory bird, which, like the tern, stops at port cities around the world, absorbs the incredible energy of the land, and travels on to the next land.
