This coffee is grown by small farmers around the Agua volcano in the ancient city of Antigua, Guatemala, and is made by collecting and refining the harvested cherries. There are over 500 small plots of small producers on the slopes of the Agua volcano.
The region's fertile volcanic soils and cool climate provide ideal conditions for growing some of the world's most prized coffees. The name of this coffee "Bella" means "beautiful" in Spanish, and "Carmona" comes from the fact that when the Spaniards settled in the 16th century, they named this area "San Bartolome Carmona". .

The region grows not only the traditional Bourbon variety, but also varieties such as Caturra and Catuai. After harvesting the ripe cherries, the farmers transport them to the Bellavista Mill, located at the foot of the mountain.
The producers involved in this coffee have a passion for quality improvement and have a willingness to make great efforts. At the Beja Carmona farm, under the guidance of farm engineers, we are thoroughly implementing basic measures such as nutritional status management, cell tissue inspection, and pest control. Beja Carmona is the authentic expression of Antigua's coffee identity.
