This coffee not only offers the firm body and balanced bitterness that you would expect from Brazilian coffee and espresso, but also has a rich fruit flavor that seems to have been heated and concentrated with sweetness. The aftertaste is pleasant with bittersweet flavors like dark chocolate and caramel.
Not only can you enjoy it on its own as an espresso, but it goes very well with milk, so I think it's the perfect coffee for this season. Mr. Adolfo runs the Passeio farm and also grows excellent coffee at Sitio Pico Mirante, which he sold this season.
This farm has been managed by Adolfo Enrique Vieira Ferreira for three generations. The Ferreira family maintains a tradition of coffee cultivation that dates back over 100 years and currently grows coffee on a vast 130 hectare farm. They are constantly innovating production technology and seeking greater efficiency. In addition, we are extremely considerate of the natural environment, with 75 hectares of natural forest remaining, and we have reduced the amount of pesticides used while maintaining the optimal balance of pest and disease control.
The farm is located on a hilly area between 1,100m and 1,200m in the southern state of Minas Gerais, at an altitude of over 1,450m, and is blessed with fertile soil containing volcanic minerals. In Brazil, it is common for producers to refine coffee to the state of green coffee, and Passeio Farm is fully equipped with equipment such as a pulper to remove pulp, a dryer, a patio, and an African bed, and is capable of refining high-quality coffee. is being carried out.
Mr. Adolfo is passionate about protecting the environment on the farm, and says, ``Pursuing the highest quality every day and paying close attention to every detail is what creates specialty coffee.'' For Adolfo, there is no doubt that his partners and the team he works with contribute greatly to the special taste of this coffee.
That is why we provide generous support for their living environment and education, providing housing for farm staff, and providing school education, vocational training, and environmental protection so that their children can cherish their education and future possibilities. We support understanding.
