This is our second Kenyan coffee of the new crop. We are pleased to introduce a coffee from Guama Factory.
In Kenya, coffee is graded using alphabetical classifications, and this Guama coffee is graded AA, the highest grade.
AA coffees generally tend to have a powerful character and a full-bodied flavor, but this coffee has a relatively light and lively impression. Fresh fruit notes reminiscent of cranberry and tamarind are accompanied by a pleasant hibiscus-like flavor that lingers aromatically. A sweetness reminiscent of brown sugar emerges in the finish, bringing balance to the cup.
It has the bright and lively acidity characteristic of Kenyan coffee, while maintaining a well-balanced overall flavor.
